Owl Pellet Exploration.

I saw some pretty cool things this week in Mrs. Mitstifer's 4th grade class. They were dissecting owl pellets. Yes, owl 'pellets.' The students explained their findings and what types of animals that owls hunt. They described that they are predators and told me that one way to understand the hunting habits of the owls was to look at their 'pellets.' Mrs. Mitstifer's class did a great job.
